NOTE: Any person found on the servers wearing the [GUS] Tag without prior authorization will NOT get a warning and will be permanently banned!
Requirements to become a [GUS] Member::: To become a [GUS] Member, you need to first, have a minimum of 10 posts... posts that are considered spam (to gain post count) will be disregarded ::
:: You must participate in at least one of our scheduled "Game Nights" (either on Friday or Saturday night) each weekend for a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks. This is not optional. Absolutely no waivers will be discussed ::
:: PM(Private Message) one of the
[GUS] Elders letting them know about your interest in membership. Include in the PM the following information about yourself:
- Full name (First, MI, Last)
- Valid Email address
- xFire ID
- IM ID (AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ etc...)
- GAMING Handle (can not be a bunch of crazy characters... plain english please)
- Steam ID
- Age (Minimum age is 13)
- Physical Location(New York, Montreal etc...)
NOTE: If we cannot verify your information to be true, you will not become a member. Your information will be kept confidential within the [GUS] members ::
[GUS] Membership process::: On the first Saturday of each month, the
[GUS] Elders will meet to review the eligible players for initial membership to [GUS] ::
:: Upon completion of the review, the
[GUS] Elders will cast a vote either for or against each player who has met the requirements. The majority vote decides nomination::
:: After nomination has been decided the final decision for membership will be made by creating a forum post in the forum "..:: [GUS] COMMAND CENTER ::.." to allow current [GUS] members to cast their vote either for or against membership for that player. The post will be listed as:
- Subject: ":: MEMBERSHIP VOTE FOR (Player name here) ::"
- Poll Question: "Should (Player name here) become a [GUS] member?"
- Post topic as: Announcement
- Poll Options: Yes, No, Undecided
- Run Poll For: 3 days
At the end of 3 days, the votes will be tallied and the majority vote will decide membership for that player. If the majority vote is "Undecided", the player will not gain membership, but will be considered for initial membership vote during the following monthly meeting ::
:: The player will receive an Email from one of the
[GUS] Elders with the final decision ::
:: If the player has become a [GUS] member, a new post will be created in the forum "..:: [GUS] COMMAND CENTER ::.." announcing the new membership ::
NOTE: All Guidelines are subject to change without prior notification
[GUS] membership is not guaranteed by meeting the above standards. [GUS] reserves the right to deny membership to any user for any reason at any time.
